Features of 12-Digit Desktop Calculator

  • 12-digit precision — handles large numbers accurately, switching to scientific notation only when a result genuinely exceeds 12 digits
  • Grand Total (GT) — automatically accumulates the result of every completed calculation, so you can total up a whole session of separate calculations at once
  • Markup (MU %) — enter a cost, press MU %, enter your markup percentage, and instantly get the selling price
  • Full memory functions — M+, M−, MR, and MC for adding to, subtracting from, recalling, and clearing a running memory total, separate from Grand Total
  • Check & Correct log — press CHECK to open a scrollable log of your last 120 calculation steps, so you can verify exactly what was entered without redoing the math
  • Auto-fitting display — long numbers automatically shrink to fit the screen rather than getting cut off
  • Full keyboard support — use your number keys, Enter, Backspace, and the standard operator keys without touching the on-screen buttons
  • Percent key that works the way you’d expect — 100 + 10% correctly gives 110, not a confusing raw calculation

How to Use the Calculator ?

  1. Do basic math as usual. Enter numbers and use +, −, ×, ÷, then press = for the result — works exactly like a standard calculator.
  2. Track a running Grand Total. Every time you press = to complete a calculation, its result is automatically added to the Grand Total. Press GT anytime to see the running total across all your calculations.
  3. Calculate a markup price. Enter your cost, press MU %, enter the markup percentage, then press = — the selling price appears instantly, calculated as Cost × (1 + Markup% ÷ 100).
  4. Use memory for a separate running total. Press M+ to add the current display value to memory, M− to subtract, MR to recall it into the display, and MC to clear memory back to zero.
  5. Review your work with Check & Correct. Press CHECK to open the calculation log and scroll back through up to 120 previous steps — useful for verifying a long series of entries without starting over.
  6. Clear everything. Press AC to reset the display, Grand Total, and calculation log all at once. Use DEL to remove just the last digit you typed.
  7. Flip a sign. Press ± to switch the current number between positive and negative.

Tip: GT and Memory are two separate running totals — GT tracks every calculation automatically with no extra button presses, while Memory only changes when you explicitly press M+ or M−. Use GT for “what’s the total of everything I’ve calculated today,” and Memory for a specific subtotal you want to build up deliberately.
